Pre-Service Teachers’ Self-Efficacy Perceptions and Metacognitive Skills in Predicting the Measurement and Evaluation Course Achievement

چکیده

The purpose of the current study is to determine relationships between pre-service teachers’ measurement and evaluation course achievement, grade point average, gender, general self-efficacy perception metacognitive skills. group comprised 180 students having taken in 2019-2020 academic year. As data collection tool, “Measurement Evaluation Self-Efficacy Perception Scale for Pre-service Teachers” developed by Nartgün (2008) “Metacognitive Skills Scale” Altındağ Senemoğlu (2013) were used. achievement calculated taking 40% midterm 60% final scores students. While asked create an original story using 24 basic concepts exam, 6 open-ended items given as homework exam. collected analyzed hierarchical multiple regression analysis. dependent variable; skill independent variables. a result, it was seen that average first stage second significantly predicted achievement.
